Lately, our tamariki showed strong curiosity about dinosaurs. To support their interests, our kaiako organised a dinosaur day to provide an opportunity for the tamariki to further explore this topic. The children had an awesome time engaging with and investigating the variety of provocations that were set up. It was also wonderful to witness the children having meaningful conversations about dinosaurs with their kaiako.
At Rising Stars, we believe that a child's learning is driven by their interests and fascinations. It is important for our kaiako to have attuned and informed responses based on observations, conversations and reflections.
